The Boston Opera Company has arranged to present Leoncavallo's "Pagliacci" in Sanders Theatre next Wednesday afternoon. This is the first time in Harvard's history that an opera has been presented in Sanders Theatre. The performance has been proffered in appreciation of the interest that students and teachers in the University have taken in the opera performances this season and the support they have lent and what the desire to encourage the present effort in the University toward still livelier interest and closer relations.
Messrs, Gaudenzi and Polese and Miss Dereyne will take the chief parts, and ht chorus and the orchestra of the Opera House will be under the direction of Mr. Moranzoni. A small fee, to cover the incidental expenses and keep the audience within bounds, will be charged.
