FIRST LACROSSE PRACTICE

About 60 Candidates Reported and Were Coached in Elements of Game.

As a result of the upperclass lacrosse series, the following 25 men have been taken onto the University squad, and reported yesterday for the first practice: F. C. Alexander '10, N. J. Beals '11, R. Burrage '11, H. Bush-Brown '11, A. L. Cochrane '09, G. M. Dwelley '09, E. P. Farwell '10, H. Goepper '09, L. W. Hickey '10, F. W. Hodgeson '11, H. S. Hoyt '11, H. B. Johnson '11, A. V. Jones '10, L. T. Judd '10, E. C. Knowlton '11, R. H. Leavitt '11, J. P. Morgan '11, D. Munroe '11, A. B. Parsons '10, H. E. Porter '09, R. N. Shaw '10, S. S. Sheip '09, S. Smith '09, R. P. Smith '10, J. W. Sterner '11. A training table will be started sometime this week.

The team will play four games during the Easter vacation this year. On Friday, April 16, they will leave for Baltimore, and play Johns Hopkins on Saturday. Practice will be held on the grounds of the Mt. Washington Club until Tuesday, when the team will leave for South Bethlehem, Pa., where they will play Le-high University on Wednesday. The next day they will play Annapolis at Annapolis and will return to New York in time to play Stevens on Saturday.
