Trials for the Freshman Glee, Mandolin, and Banjo Clubs will be held this evening. The CRIMSON wishes to call to the attention of all first-year men who sing or play, this opportunity to become allied with an organization which in past years has been an important factor in the life of the Freshman class. It is not only an opportunity to meet a large number of men in a very pleasant and profitable way, but is also in the nature of a preparation for the University Musical Clubs. Every year the latter lose many men by graduation, and their places must be filled immediately. It is a decided advantage if a man has played on his Freshman Club.
