The score made by the University rifle team in a competition with Louisiana State University was 927 out of a possible 1000 shots. This score was made at the Federal rifle range, in Boston, last Wednesday and Thursday evenings, each man shooting one target standing and one target prone.
Owing to the fact that the scores of the competing teams have to be sent to the War Department at Washington, the total made by Louisiana State University has not yet been heard from. The scores made by the members of the University team follow: A. C. Gosse '12, 193; J. C. P. Bartholf '13, 196; E. P. Carver, Jr., '13, 186; W. B. Harris '13, 179; H. A. von Wedelstaedt '12, 178.
