At the mass meeting this evening the regular cheers and songs are to be rehearsed, and this added practice is essential if the team is to have creditable vocal support from the cheering section. What renders the meeting tonight especially important, however, is the trying out of the four new football songs which have been chosen in the recent competition. It is hoped that the best of these may be selected, practiced, and learned in time for use during the remainder of the season. The season, it should be remembered, is waxing old; and these songs are quite new. Only unanimous and diligent attention, accordingly, to the task of learning the compositions selected can assure that they will be mastered in time.
