HARD PRACTICE FOR VARSITY

YESTERDAY'S LINE-UP SAW MOST OF THE REGULARS IN GAME AGAIN.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Contrary to the custom of having a light practice on Monday, yesterday's drill for the University squad was long and hard. Behind the closed gates the men were driven at top speed for two hours, the greater part of the time being spent in scrimmages although the coaches watched each man carefully. Parmenter, who has not been in the scrimmages since the Princeton game, was back in his place at centre and seemed in the best of condition. Trumbull's position at right guard was filled by Driscoll as the former is still a trifle stiff as the result of the Princeton game.

Considerable attention was given to the punters, Willetts especially receiving careful coaching. Coolidge, who has been laid up with water on the knee, appeared in togs, but was not allowed to enter the scrimmage.

The line-up of the University team was as follows: l.e., Felton; l.t., Storer; l.g., Pennock; c., Parmenter; r.g., Driscoll; r.t., Hitchcock; r.e., O'Brien; q.b., Gardner; l.h.b., Hardwick; r.h.b., Brickley; f.b., Wendell.
