A large college men's torchlight parade for Woodrow Wilson will be held next Saturday in Boston. Delegations from Harvard, Princeton, Amherst, Williams, Technology, Tufts, Boston University and other colleges will participate. All Harvard men who desire to march should meet in Harvard square at 6.30 sharp.
Tickets entitling the holder to a torch, sash, and some red light to be used in the parade are now on sale for 25 cents at the Union, Leavitt & Peirce's, and Woodrow Wilson League Headquarters, Little's Block. The holders of tickets may obtain their paraphernalia Friday or Saturday by calling at Hollis Hall, or the Wilson headquarters.
Progressives Will Also March.
The Harvard Progressive Club will hold a torchlight parade on Saturday evening. The parade will form in Harvard square at 6.45 o'clock and, headed by a band, will march to Central square, where it will be joined by the Cambridge Progressive Club marchers. At Copley square they will join Progressive marchers from every section of the state. These will include many delegations from neighboring colleges. A monster parade will be formed here which will march to Boston Common where a big open air rally will be held. At this rally, C. S. Bird '77 and D. Cosgrove, Progressive candidates for governor and lieutenant-governor respectively will speak.
Tickets for torches, bandannas, flags, and red lights are on sale at Leavitt & Peirce's, the Union, and at the Progressive Club's headquarters, Grays 10. Outfits will be distributed at Grays 10 tomorrow and Saturday.
