CONCERNING CLASS SONG

Information to Seniors as Regards Conditions of Competition.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The competition for the Senior class song, open to Seniors only, began this week. The class of 1913 wants a song which can be sung at all graduate and undergraduate gatherings of the class, and which the Glee Club will sing on Class Day.

The requirements for the song are few. It must be spirited and simple, and should consist of two verses with or without a chorus. Men who have words without music, or music without words, or a melody, without an accompaniment can get a collaborator by applying to W. R. Burlingame, Thayer 38. Men may hand in as many songs as they wish.

The competition will close on December 1. All manuscripts must be sent to the above-mentioned address before this date, bearing a fictitious name, and enclosing a sealed envelope containing the real name and address of the writer.

The committee hope to reach a decision, and make a choice of songs at the latest by December 10.
