Mr. Lincoln Steffens will deliver a lecture on "Socialism versus Radicalism" in Emerson D this evening at 8 o'clock. Mr. Steffens' broad education at universities here and in Europe, coupled with long experience as a journalist and writer, have given him a keen insight into contemporary social and political problems. His advanced stand on such questions, and his connections with labor, have won for him the title of "anarchist." Mr. Steffens is not, however, as extreme as the title would imply. He was largely instrumental in obtaining the confession of the McNamara brothers a year ago, and lectured here on the subject last spring. His address this evening will be open only to members of the University.
