There will be a meeting of all members of the University interested in the new Progressive Party, in the Assembly Room of the Union this evening at 8 o'clock. The purpose of the meeting is to effect a permanent active organization which may be of service in the present campaign. The speakers will include, Matthew Hale '03, manager of the Progressive Party in the stage of Massachusetts, Lewiston Ward '03, organizer of Progressive clubs in New England colleges, and ex-Representative Russell Crane '00, chairman of the Progressive Party Legislative Committee. Eliot Bacon '11 will preside at the meeting. All men, regardless of past political affiliations, are invited to attend.
First Meeting of Socialist Club.
The Socialist Club will hold its first meeting of the year in Thayer 62, this evening at 8 o'clock. W. Lippman '10, K. MacGowan '11, and G. C. Henderson '12, presidents of the club during the last three years, will be the principal speakers. All members of the University are invited.
