Progressive Republicans Organize

At the meeting held yesterday afternoon in Emerson Hall, a partial organization of the new Progressive Republican Club was effected. The main objects of the organization are: 1. To interest Progressive Republicans in the University who are not yet ready to declare for any one candidate; 2. To furnish speakers to spread the knowledge of Progressive principles throughout the State; 3. To get men identified with the Progressive movement to address members of the University.

It was voted that at the next meeting, a committee should submit to the club for discussion a list of principles for which the club should declare. An executive committee to regulate the affairs of the club, was elected, and is composed of the following: C. W. Beale 2L., H. J. Bischoff 3L., J. W. Eckelberry 2L., O. Sletten uL., P. J. Stearns '13.
