Number Cut Down From Eight.--Today's Schedule.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Since the scrub hockey series must be practically finished by the beginning of the mid-year period, it has been found necessary to play only four teams in the round robin instead of eight. Two more teams have yet to be eliminated and the final preliminary matches will be played this afternoon on the Stadium rink. The times of the matches are as follows: at 2.45 o'clock, Hard Guys vs. Internationals; at 3.15 o'clock, New Moons vs. Arterial Artilleries. In case the games have to be postponed they will be played tomorrow at the same times, and the first game of the round robin will also be played between the Little Jeffs and the Seven Sutherland Sisters. If the games are played off this afternoon, tomorrow's schedule will be: at 3 o'clock, Little Jeffs vs. winner of Hard Guys vs. Internationals; at 3.45 o'clock, Seven Sutherland Sisters vs. winner of New Moons vs. Arterial Artilleries.
