Golf Team Lost in Intercollegiates

In the Intercollegiate Golf Association tournament at the Essex Country Club, at Manchester, Mass., September 19 to 24, the University team reached the semi-finals. In the first round Harvard defeated Pennsylvania, 7 matches to 2. In the next round, the University team lost to Yale, 7 matches to 2. In the finals, Yale defeated Princeton for the championship.

In the individual championship, F. C. Davidson '12, reached the finals, but lost to R. E. Hunter, of Yale, in a 39-hole match. Davidson was elected captain of next year's golf team and also treasurer of the Intercollegiate Golf Association.
