In a close and exciting game played at Washington Park, Brooklyn, yesterday, Princeton defeated Yale by the score of 1 to 0. The game was featured by the work of both pitchers, White of Princeton having slightly the better of the struggle. Only one Yale man reached second base.
The batteries were as follows: Princeton--Sterrett and S. V. White; Yale--Burdette and Hartwell.
