Two rounds were completed in the Massachusetts State tennis tournament at the Longwood Cricket Club last Saturday. A few upsets were noticed, the most surprising being the defeat of E. H. Whitney '14, former national interscholastic champion, by E. T. Dana 2G., in straight sets, 7-5, 6-3. Among the winners in Saturday's matches were A. Sweetser 1G., W. B. Fraser-Campbell '11, L. I. Grinnell '12, A. J. Lowrey '13, and E. H. Woods '14. Play will be continued this afternoon at 3.30 o'clock.
