No Soccer Game With Haverford

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

No game will be played between the University and Haverford association football teams, since the tie was only in games won and lost. In such a case, according to the constitution of the league, the team having the highest goal average shall be champion. The University team made ten goals to their opponents' six, whereas Haverford made eleven goals, being scored on only five times. A play-off was rendered impossible by the fact that the Haverford team stopped practice on April 10, and that a number of its members are now playing cricket. The championship and the trophy will be awarded to Haverford at the annual meeting of the Intercollegiate Association Football League at Columbia University, on May 13.
