The University cross-country team has presented Mr. Herbert Jaques, father of H. Jaques, Jr., '11, the captain of the team, with a large silver loving cup in recognition of his interest in the team last fall. Mr. Jaques had his stables fitted to serve the runners as dressing quarters and installed showers and other conveniences for their use. The cup is inscribed with the following: "Presented to Mr. Herbert Jaques by the Harvard Cross-Country Team in grateful recognition of his invaluable aid toward a most successful season."
