The Alumni Association of Harvard Chemists will hold a banquet for the purpose of organization at Young's Hotel, Boston, this evening at 7.15 o'clock. Mr. J. D. Pennock '83, of the Solvay Process Company, Syracuse, N. Y., the temporary chairman of the association, will preside. The speakers will be Mr. H. W. Wiley '73, Chief Chemist of the United States; Professor Wilder D. Bancroft '88, of Cornell; Professor C. E. Munroe '71, of George Washington University; Dr. Morris Loeb '83, of New York City. It is expected that there will be about 150 present.
The association held a preliminary meeting last June, when plans for the present organization were discussed. The final arrangements for the organization of the association will be arranged this evening. In addition to organization, the progress of the work for the new chemical laboratories at the University will be explained.
