The first scrimmage in the spring football practice was held on the Freshman gridiron on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon. Coach Haughton divided the squad into two teams and, after 20 minutes of signal drill, lined them against each other for 20 minutes of hard scrimmage. Straight football was employed most of the time. A few forward passes were tried but they were for the most part unsuccessful. The feature of the play was a 70-yard run by Graustein on an intercepted forward pass. The teams lined up as follows: TEAM A.  TEAM B.
