The Freshman lacrosse team defeated the Brooklyn Manual Training School on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon by the score of 8 to 1. The Freshmen were surprisingly strong in team play, the work of the forwards being remarkably advanced considering that yesterday's game was the first on the schedule. Abbe and Brundage played the best for the Freshmen, each scoring three goals.
