To the Editors of the CRIMSON:
The Council of Federated Clubs begs to call the attention of the University to the calendar now posted every Saturday in the Union and Phillips Brooks House. It contains on the first page a list of events occurring in the ensuing week, arranged chronologically. The second page contains a list of next meetings of constituent clubs, of serial lectures, and concerts, and of other events.
The date-book, upon which the calendar is based, but containing advance dates in chronological order, may always be found in the Union office. Persons not members of the Union can obtain the information by telephone.
The object of the date-book is to avoid, as far as possible, conflicts between meetings of similar interest. It is advisable, therefore, to consult this book before making arrangements for any meeting, and as soon as they are made to notify the secretary at Randolph 55, or in care of the Union. J. R. SIRLEY '12.
