Musical Lecture by Mr. Dolmetsch

Mr. Arnold Dolmetsch will give the fifth of a series of twelve illustrated lectures on the secular music, and musical instruments of the sixteenth, seventeenth, and eighteenth centuries, in the Lecture Room of the Fogg Museum this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock. The subject of today's lecture will be "The Works of Henry Purcell." The sixth lecture of the series, on "Italian and Spanish Music of the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Centuries," will be given by Mr. Dolmetsch next Monday afternoon. These lectures are open to the public.
