1912 DORMITORY ALLOTMENT

Results of Drawings.--Applicants Urged to Sign for Rooms at Once.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The results of the Junior drawings for rooms in Hollis, Holworthy, Stoughton, and Thayer for next year are given below. The number of applications was much larger than that of last year, filling all of the four dormitories named above with the exception of three rooms in the north and south entries of Thayer Hall.

Owing to the large number of applications and the limited number of entries available, many of the groups failed to draw any of the preferences named upon their envelopes where they did not give an extended list. In such cases, the committee used every effort possible to grant the applicants the best combinations remaining open to choice, although not specified.

Each group is urged to make an immediate investigation of their allotment and the Dormitory Committee will hold office hours in Phillips Brooks House from 2 until 5 o'clock today and tomorrow, when the applicants will be expected to sign the Bursar's card for the rooms they intend to occupy. Where men have applied in the larger units, they are expected to reach a decision at once as to the room each individual will sign for. In cases where individuals are named in the list, those men already have rooms in the specified dormitories.
