HARDEST PRACTICE OF YEAR

Princeton Team in Scrimmage Lasting for Over an Hour.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Princeton, N. J., November 1, 1911.--The longest and hardest practice of the year was held on Osborne Field this afternoon, when the Princeton football team was put through a scrimmage of over an hour in length. Baker played a wonderful game in the backfield, but the line with the exceptions of Captain Hart, Duff, and Bluethenthal was again weak. Pendleton and Wilson were given a day's rest, not even appearing in football clothes. After the scrimmage the drop-kickers of the squad were given a long drill with rather unsatisfactory results.
