$50,000 Bequest to University

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

By the will of the late General S. C. Lawrence '55, $50,000 is left to the University for the establishment of two scholarships of $25,000 each, to be known as the Samuel C. Lawrence Scholarships, $500 of the income from the first bequest is to be used for the help of some deserving student from Medford, and the income from the second bequest is to go toward assisting some deserving student of more than ordinary intellectual promise.
