The Freshman Debating Club was organized last night in Sever 11 at a meeting attended by 30 men from the class of 1915. L. A. Mahoney '13, president of the University Debating Council, presided. The speakers were Judge A. P. Stone '93, who showed that the success of Harvard debating is based on simplicity of method; H. B. Ehrman 1L., who pointed out the specific advantages of debating; and J. A. Donovan '13, manager of the University Debating Council, who spoke of the means of supplying funds for expenses. Temporary officers were elected as follows; president, W. A. Cahill; secretary-treasurer, E. Lawler.
