University Chorus Will be Formed

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At the suggestion of President Lowell a University chorus will be formed. Professor Max Friedlaender, who is the director of the university chorus at Berlin, will start the training of this body in Holden Chapel on Monday evening at 8 o'clock. Dr. A. T. Davison '06 will assist Professor Friedlaender in this work and will continue it after Professor Friedlaender has returned to Germany. For many years such choruses have been an important and enjoyable feature of undergraduate life in German universities, and interested co-operation of the undergraduates will make it a valuable feature here as well.

It is hoped that as many men as possible will attend the meeting Monday evening. Men with previous musical or vocal experience are especially urged to try for the chorus.
