The Aeronautical Society is perfecting arrangements for its second annual flying meet. It will be held at Atlantic from August 26 to September 4, provided these dates are approved by the National Council of Aero Clubs.
Mr. Claude Grahame-White has already consented to fly, and it is hoped that many of the well-known aviators of America, England, and France will be present. It is planned to have real contests rather than exhibition feats, although there will be several of the latter. Events will be scheduled for a definite time, as it is considered that enough progress has been made in aeronautics during the past year to warrant this departure from the usual method of holding a meet.
