Opera Tickets at Reduced Rates

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Through the generosity of a patron of the Boston Opera House, the Student Council is enabled to offer members of the University orders on the Opera House, entitling them to seats at half price. Not more than two seats will be given to any one man for the same performance, and only $1 and $2 seats will be included in the arrangement, which will apply to all performances except those on Saturday nights. At a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Student Council yesterday afternoon, the following committee was appointed to manage the assignment: W. C. Greene '11, chairman, R. B. Batchelder '13, A. Beane '11 and W. H. Fernald '12. Within a few days this committee will announce in the CRIMSON office-hours in Phillips Brooks House, Men wishing seats at the opera will apply at these times, and receive printed orders. By presenting these at the box-office of the Opera House, together with half the price of the tickets, they will receive any hitherto unsold $1 or $2 seats in the house.
