New Course in Printing to be Given

The Graduate School of Business Administration announces a course for the second half year which is an entirely new departure in the line of Business teaching. The course, Business 20c, is entitled "An Introduction to the Technique of Printing.'

Beginning with a general survey of what the printer has to do, the course deals for the most part with the materials he uses and the technical processes which he employs. Preparation of copy and proof-reading, type and composition, paper and ink, reproducing processes, printing machinery, and the routine of work in a printing office will be among the subjects discussed in the lectures.

In addition to lectures, a few visits to printing offices will be arranged. Written reports will be called for on these visits. No attempt will be made to consider the details of shopwork but an effort will be made to give a clear grasp of the subject.
