Lecture by Mr. J. H. McFarland

Mr. J. H. McFarland, of Harrisburg, Pa., president of the American Civic Association, will lecture on "Recent Progress in American City Planning" under the auspices of the Topiarian Club in Robinson Hall on Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock. All members of the University will be admitted.

Mr. McFarland is well known as a master printer and as the author of a number of articles on horticulture and on the beautifying of cities. He was president of the American League for Civic Improvement from 1902 to 1904, and a member of the executive board of the National Municipal League for one year.
