Hockey Club Won Listless Game

After a quarter of an hour's preliminary drill, the University hockey team played a thirty-minute scrimmage in the Arena yesterday with the Boston Hockey Club, the latter winning, 6 to 2. The University team seemed to have slowed up considerably since Saturday, but this was to be expected after the hard game with McGill. After fifteen minutes of play, when the Hockey Club was leading 3 to 1, the substitutes were sent in, but were unable to score. Toward the close of the practice, however, the first team forwards were again put in and succeeded in making a goal just before time was called. This score came as the result of some pretty team-work by Seamans, Hornblower and Duncan, the latter scoring.
