PRICKLY HEATS WON SERIES

By Defeating Bush Leaguers 6 to 0 in Deciding Game of Round Robin.

The Prickly Heats defeated the Bush Leaguers in the deciding game of the round robin of the scrub baseball series yesterday afternoon by the score of 6 to 0. Both teams played well. In the third inning the Prickly Heats secured a run on errors. No further scoring was done until the seventh inning when Tift weakened and allowed the Prickly Heats to score four runs, Wigglesworth knocking a three-base hit. In the next inning R. C. Clifford made a home run.

In the ninth inning the Bush Leaguers started a batting rally making their only hit, but it was stopped with a double play by Winston, Wigglesworth, and Paul. In the second game scheduled for yesterday, the Moulin Rouges defaulted to the Nine Muses, thus giving them second place in the league.

As the Prickly Heats have won the series without a single defeat the remaining games in the round robin will be cancelled.
