BASEBALL WITH HOLY CROSS

University Team to Play Second Game at Worcester.-Hicks to Pitch.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Harvard and Holy Cross will play the second game of their annual series at 3.30 o'clock this afternoon on Fitton Field, Worcester. Hicks will pitch for Harvard, and Foley will probably be in the box again for Holy Cross. In the absence of Coach Pieper, W. D. Dexter, captain of the nine in 1907, will direct the team from the bench.

Since the game last Tuesday, Holy Cross has been defeated by Vermont, 5 to 2, but has won from Virginia, 2 to 0.

Potter is still incapacitated, and Marshall will take his place today as in the other games this week. Otherwise the University team is in good shape, and the prospect is for a close game today with a low score. The batting orders: HARVARD.  HOLLY CROSS. Carr, s.s.  s.s., Mahoney Lanigan, 3b.  c.f., Whalen McLaughlin, 1b.  1b., Dowd Aronson, c.f.  2b., Jones Kelly, l.f.  r.f., Burns Babson, r.f.  l.f., Kennedy Marshall, 2b.  3b., Cawley Young, c.  c., Spillane Hicks, p.  p., Foley
