The annual spring interclass tennis tournament will begin on Jarvis and Soldiers Fields Monday. Blue-books for entries from the three upper classes have been placed in Leavitt & Peirce's; entries from the Freshman class should be made in the blue-book now at the Rendezvous. Each man is requested to enter his name and class in the book and must deposit an entrance fee of 50 cents at the time of signing. The entries will close at 6 o'clock on Saturday.

The trials for the University tennis team played yesterday resulted as follows: G. C. Adams '10 defeated H. Nickerson '11, 6-3, 4-6, 6-2; E. M. Ach '11 defeated J. A. Simpson '12, 6-3, 6-1; E. W. Ellis '11 defeated W. S. Seamans, Jr., '11, 6-4, 6-2; J. R. Tunis '11 defeated P. T. Large, Jr., '10, 6-1, 6-2; T. B. Townsend, Jr., '10 defeated L. M. Miller '11, 6-2, 11-9; G. D. Howie '11 defeated J. H. Pettus '12, 6-4, 6-3,; C. S. Cutting '12 defeated W. B. Fraser-Campbell '11, 6-2, 6-2; R. J. Eaton '12 defeated P. K. Houston '12, 6-2, 6-4; A. M. Hyde '12 defeated L. I. Grinnell '12, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3; F. DeH. Houston '10 defeated F. S. Blanchard '10 by default.
The trials will be continued on Jarvis Field tomorrow at 4 o'clock.
