At the special meeting of the Board of Overseers held yesterday, the following appointments were approved: Professor G. A. Reisner '89, assistant professor of Semitic archaeology was made assistant professor of Egyptology; H. W. Holmes '03, instructor in education, W. G. Howard '91, instructor in German, H. N. Davis, instructor in physics and mathematics, H. W. Morse, instructor in physics, and L. J. Henderson '98, instructor in biological chemistry, have been promoted to assistant professorships in their respective subjects; W. R. Brinkerhoff, instructor in pathology from 1903 to 1906, was appointed assistant professor of pathology; S. B. Wolbach, assistant in pathology in 1905 to 1906, was appointed assistant professor of bacteriology; C. N. Greenough '98, instructor in English from 1899 to 1902 and from 1906 to 1907, was made assistant professor of English.
