1913 Soccer Team Defeated Ivernia

The Freshman association football team defeated the Ivernia Athletic Club, of the S. S. Ivernia, on Soldiers Field Saturday afternoon, by the score of 2 to 1. The teams were evenly matched, and the game was well contested throughout. The only goal in the first half was made by Kimball of the Freshman team, after five minutes of play. In the early part of the second half, Kimball again scored, and not long after Cooke made a goal for Ivernia.
