Slow Soccer Practice Yesterday

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University and Freshman association football squads held their first regular practice yesterday afternoon on Soldiers Field. The rain and the warm weather made the ground so soft that good playing was impossible.

The men were divided into two teams; one composed mostly of the University team, the other mostly of Freshmen. A thirty-minute scrimmage was held in which Leland and Chadwick played together very well. The University team scored twelve goals while the Freshmen failed to score.

Practice will be held regularly every day at 3.30. The management requests that all men who intend to come out for the team should report immediately.
