The Shooting Club has opened the traps on Soldiers Field to begin the regular spring practice. The traps will be open every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoon until the end of the season. The University team and four class teams will be selected from the eligible material as soon as possible, since the class shoot will be held shortly. Cups will be awarded the winning class team. In addition to the regularly scheduled shoots, the "Wigglesworth Cup" will be competed for again this season. Weekly handicap shoots will also be held, for which medals will be given. A final field-day in the latter part of May, in which several cups will be offered as prizes, will close the season.

Captains for the class teams have been appointed as follows: Seniors, C. L. Hauthaway; Juniors, J. H. Storer; Sophomores, J. Heard; and Freshmen, D. Lockwood.
