Professor F. C. de Sumichrast will give the sixth of his series of illustrated lectures on "The British Empire, Its Origin and Growth," under the auspices of the Victoria League in the United States, at 8 o'clock this evening in Chickering Hall, Boston. The subject of this lecture is, "Africa, the Laggard Continent." The last lecture of the series on "The Power of the Empire" will be given on April 20.

For those who are not members of the League a charge of 50 cents will be made. Tickets may be purchased at the box office, Chickering Hall.
