Cornell Defeated Columbia in Hockey

The Cornell hockey team defeated Columbia in the St. Nicholas Rink on Saturday evening by the score of 7 to 1. The final game of the intercollegiate series, between Dartmouth and Cornell, on March 12, will decide third place in the league standing. If Cornell wins, that team will rank third; but if Dartmouth defeats Cornell, Yale, Dartmouth, and Cornell will all be tied for third place.

The present standing of the teams in the league is as follows:   Played.  Won.  Lost.  Percent. Princeton,  5  5  0  1.000 Harvard,  5  4  1  .800 Cornell,  4  2  2  .500 Yale,  5  2  3  .400 Dartmouth,  4  1  3  .250 Columbia,  5  0  5  .000
