Second Trials for Debating Teams

The second trial for candidates for the University debating teams which will meet Yale and Princeton in the triangular debate on March 26 will be held in Dane Hall this evening at 7.30 o'clock. The twenty men retained from the first trial on Monday will deliver ten-minute speeches on either side of the question.

"Resolved, That all corporations engaged in interstate commerce should be complied to take out a federal charter."

"Twelve men will be retained for the final trials to be held next Wednesday, at which two teams, consisting each of three principals and an alternate, will be chosen. At the final trials competitors will again deliver ten-minute speeches, six speaking on each side of the question, the order of speaking to be determined by lot. Rebuttal speeches will also be required, these to be us based on suggestions given by the judges.
