Soccer Team Defeated by Lynn

In its second game of the season, the University association football team was defeated, 3 to 0, by the General Electric Company team of Lynn, on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon.

The opposing forwards were much better than those of the University team, and kept the ball in Harvard's territory most of the time. Chadwick's work at goal alone prevented the score from being much larger. Byng, Barron and Winston played the best individual games for the University, while Paton and Haddon excelled for Lynn.

The summary: HARVARD.  LYNN. Chadwick, g.  g., Sharples Barron, r.f.b.  l.f.b., MacEwen Hallowell, l.f.b.  l.f.b., Kennedy Richard, r.h.b.  r.h.b., Thompson Swan, c.h.b.  c.h.b., Haddon Morriss, l.h.b.  l.h.b., Cockcroft Needham, r.o.f.  r.o.f., Kilhert Seamans, r.i.f.  r.i.f., Wilson Winston, c.f.  c.f., Paton Carnochan, l.i.f.  l.i.f., Ross Byng, l.o.f.  l.o.f., Spooner
