Cornell Held Scrimmage Practice

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Ithaca, N. Y., Oct. 31.--The Cornell University football team had a light practice yesterday. The backs were given instruction in handling punts and making interference in the open field.

The linemen worked at the bucking machine for some time, and them were sent against the second team line for practice in breaking through and blocking. This was followed by a scrimmage. Neither side scored, as the teams exchange positions when the university eleven came near scoring.

The members of the team are all in good condition except Pitcher, right end, who is out of the game with a sprained ankle.
