The attention of all men interested in gymnastic work is called to the sixth annual novice meet to be held in the Hemenway Gymnasium in the middle of December. Dr. Sargent has offered a cup, to be given to the winner of the most points, and medals will be awarded for first and second places in each event. Last year the following six events were held: Horizontal bars, parallel bars, flying rings, side horse, tumbling, and club swinging. The meet is designed exclusively for men who have never taken part in any college gymnastic contest or exhibition, and all undergraduates are eligible. Members of the gymnastic team will be on the floor every afternoon at 5 o'clock to assist those intending to compete.
