G. f. Waterbury '10, coach of the victorious 1912 and 1913 Freshman football teams, coached the Freshman squad yesterday, and will be with the team for a few days. Coaches Dewey, Ervin, Knapp and F. Parker were also on the field.

Preliminary practice for the Freshman squad was elementary, consisting in falling on the ball, breaking through for the linemen, and running down under punts for the ends. After a long signal drill the first and second teams lined up for a short scrimmage in which neither side scored. Captain Gardiner, Chatfield, and McGuire were excused from practice, owing to minor injuries.
