The Freshman football team had a light practice yesterday under the direction of Coaches Ervin, Clifford, and Knapp. Gardiner, Chatfield, and Reynolds were given a day off because of their work in the game against Exeter on Wednesday. Howard has recovered from his injury and was back at right tackle.
After blackboard instruction in the Locker building, the team ran through signals. Special attention was devoted to the development of plays to be used within the 25-yard line of the opponents. The team lined up as follows: l.e., Devereux, Dana, Morgan; l.t., Willetrs; l.g., Saltonstall; c., Storer; r.g., McGuire, Mills; r.t., Howard; r.e., Bulkeley, C. Curtis; q.b., Grant; l.h.b., Ryan; r.h.b., Sortwell; f.b., Bettle.
The following nine men have been added to the Freshman football training table. They should report at the Varsity Club on Holyoke street for breakfast this morning between 8 and 9 o'clock. J. A. Bryan, W. Bulkeley, W. B. D. Dana, J. C. Devereux, W. L. Fox, V. Freedley, L. H. Mills, L. Saltonstall, W. A. Willetts.
