This afternoon at 2 o'clock the semifinals of the singles tennis tournament will be played on Jarvis Field. N. W. Niles '09, twice champion of the University, will play E. M. Pickman '08, and C. C. Pell '08, captain of the University tennis team, will play H. L. Clark. Both matches should be fairly close, but the final round will in all probability be Pell vs. Niles.
In the third round of the doubles tournament, the following matches will be played:
At 2--F. S. Blanchard '10 and J. Wheelwright '10 vs. the winner of S. Hall '10 and C. H. Wolfe '10, and H. F. Atherton 2L. and A. G. Gill 2L.; J. E. Gardner 1L. and H. P. Burt 1G. vs. G. Burt 1G. and H. V. Amberg '08.
At 3.30--A. S. Dabney '09 and N. W. Niles '09 vs. F. Pearson '11 and H. Nickerson '11; C. C. Pell '08 and G. P. Gardner '10 vs. J. Reynolds, Jr., 1L. and S. P. Henshaw 2L.
