At a recent meeting of the Board of Overseers, the appointment of C. T. Copeland '82 as assistant professor of English was confirmed. Mr. Copeland has been instructor and lecturer in English Literature in the University since 1893.
The confirmation of the appointment of E. E. Carter as assistant professor of Forestry was also made. Mr. Carter was graduated from Bowdoin in 1902 and received the degree of M. F. from Yale two years later.
