Professor F. C. de Sumichrast will give the annual lecture course of the Alliance Francaise on the general subject of "The French in India and in America." The first lecture, "Early French Establishments in India" will be given in Huntington Hall, Boston, tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock. This course, which will be open to the public, will be in French and will be illustrated by stereopticon views.
The dates and subjects of the other lectures follow:
February 3.--Dupliex, Founder of the French Empire.
February 5.--Bussy and Lally: the Final Conflict.
February 8.--New France: Cartier and Champlain.
February 10.--The Indians and, the English: Frontenac.
February 12.--Louisbourg and Quebec: Montcalm.
